Signavio was honored as "best startup" in an award ceremony taking place in the Lufthansa Aviation Center in Frankfurt on Thursday evening. Software AG's Horst Kinzinger emphasized in his laudation that Signavio's collaborative approach is pathbreaking for business process management. What makes the product especially appealing is also the option to use it as Software as a Service (SaaS). This enables businses departments to quickly get started with process design.

The German Association for the Facilitation of Research Transfer (GFFT e.V.) organizes the annual startup competition. Besides Signavio, Yatta Solutions was also awarded. The Kassel-based startup provides an innovative UML modeling tool that allows full roundtrip between UML diagrams and Java code.
