Privacy Statement
We take our data privacy responsibilities seriously. This Data Privacy Statement explains how we collect, use and disclose personal data about you when you register for the BPI Forum 2021 virtual event (the “Event”). “We” are “Signavio”, i.e. Signavio GmbH, Kurfürstenstraße 111, 10787 Berlin, Germany. In this context, we are the controller according to Art. 4 section 7 General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) (EU).

During the registration process for the Event, you will be asked for some personal data, such as your name, surname, job title, e-mail address, telephone number, and company information such as company name and industry. This data will be used for various marketing-related purposes related to the Event.
The data you enter will also be provided to sponsors of the event and by attending a session or interacting with a sponsor or exhibitor (such as through the use of the functionalities of the Event’s online hosting platform), you will give the sponsor or exhibitor access to your personal data entered during the registration. They may use this information to follow up with you after the Event. Sponsors and exhibitors are responsible for using this personal data in accordance with applicable laws. If you do not want to be contacted by a sponsor or exhibitor, please let them know directly. You will find an overview of the sponsors for the Event on this page.
Your name, and optionally further information (such as job title and company), will also be visible to other event participants when you use live chat functionality. You can set up your own profile and decide what personal data to provide.
Unless otherwise stated, our legal ground for processing the personal data we collect in connection with the event is our legitimate interest in running the event and commercial interests, e.g. growing our business.
