..and the winners are: 1&1 and Signavio

1&1 Internet AG and Signavio are very proud of their result at this year's Process Solution Award of the German Society for Organization (gfo). The award ceremony honoring the "most innovative and best-in-class process initiative" took place as part of the Process Solution Day in Frankfurt on 17 May.

Companies that have successfully applied Business Process Management (BPM) are at the center of the competition. Following up on last year's success together with AOK Berlin-Brandenburg, Signavio made it to the top together with 1&1 Internet AG, winning the 1st prize in the category "process modeling".

Michael Salzmann, Head of Software Development Consumer, presented the project. It mainly centers around business/IT alignment through process models. Prof. Christine Legner praised the strategic impact on the corporate goals of 1&1 Internet AG as well as the solid realization of the project in her laudatio.
