The BPM2thePeople Award is given by the Process Management Alliance e.V. for outstanding BPM projects in the education and social services fields. The project with the day-care centre, convinced the jury in the areas of serving as role models, innovation and efficiency.
Kita Am See Großbettlingen follows one of the most innovative pedagogic approaches nationwide. Due to the increasing competition of day-care centres, tasks such as marketing and communication, and quality management, are becoming more and more important. The administrative cost is increasing and time for taking care of the children is getting less.
With the new crohKita Project, a navigation system which performs the processes and organisation of a kindergarten, Kita Am See Großbettlingen was able to optimise its processes. “More time for the child, to work on creativity, exciting experiences and learning”, this is the mission of the day-care centre. Thanks to the project, this target can now be pursued again.
“The project is an exciting example of the use of process management in the social services field. I am impressed by the passion and commitment of the employees of the day-care centre. Thanks to this motivation and the support from Signavio, we could implement a successful BPM project.” T. Bosancic, bosancic consulting.
Whilst introducing BPM to Kita Am See Großbettlingen, the processes were modelled with the Signavio Process Editor in BPM 2.0. Signavio’s SaaS solution offers kindergartens a very easy introduction to process management. In addition, the versatile collaboration features of the Signavio Process Editor, promote teamwork and cooperation within the day-care centre team.
“It is great that Signavio is also being implemented in day-care centres. I have two children myself and my oldest son recently started attending a nursery. For me it is very important that at sufficient time remains at the day-care centre for personal care of the children.” Steven Lewandowski, Software Engineer and BPM Trainer, Signavio GmbH.
