WALLDORF and BERLIN — November 15, 2021 – SAP today announced a strategic partnership with consulting and software company Scheer GmbH to accelerate process transformation in the DACH and Central European region leveraging the advanced business process intelligence (BPI) solutions from SAP and Scheer’s expertise and solutions around digital transformation. BPI solutions help organizations analyze, improve and innovate their business processes. The signed partnership also includes co-innovation in the further development of BPI’s new process content layer and methodology, such as process models, performance metrics, role descriptions, training materials, customer journey and more, unified under BPI’s content layer.
The continuous measurement and improvement of business processes is a critical element in the transformation into an intelligent enterprise. However, many organizations overlook or undervalue the importance of processes in their overall digital transformation. This new partnership will help customers to use a wide range of transformation content as Scheer and BPI will combine Scheer’s deep industry content and process expertise with BPI’s new content layer. Scheer performanceREADY solution for the digitalization of business models and business processes will complement BPI’s new content to help customers accelerating their process transformations.
Rouven Morato, General Manager, Business Process Intelligence at SAP comments: “This strategic partnership with Scheer will accelerate the implementation of SAP solutions and innovations required to unlock digital transformation at speed and at scale. SAP and Signavio’s tools and methodologies combined by Scheer’s world class process mining and deep domain expertise in one process content layer is a powerful partnership that organizations in the DACH region and beyond will benefit from.”
The partnership will be supported by a team of 300 experts inside Scheer with deep domain expertise in process modelling, process mining, process automation and enterprise architecture. Priority sectors include complex, process-heavy industries including automotive, chemicals, manufacturing and pharmaceuticals.
The partnership is the latest in three decades of collaboration between SAP and Scheer dating back to the 1990s when SAP and Scheer invented tools and methodologies for process-oriented documentation and implementation of SAP applications together. As of 2021, Scheer currently has over 1,000 employees across multiple markets that specialize in guiding organizations in the implementation and optimization of SAP products and services including SAP S/4HANA and its comprehensive, intelligent and customer-specific digital transformation offering RISE with SAP.
