The publication has undergone its biggest shakeup to date, with new questions added for clarity, technical depth, and to ensure all business process technologies are captured to gauge the evolution of BPM.
The participants are from a broad cross-section of international organizations and are mostly business managers, consultants, practitioners, and industry analysts. The report compares the responses from six previous BPTrends surveys.
Business Process Trends was established in 2003, and in 2005 undertook its first survey into what organizations were doing with business process technologies. New data is published every other year and focuses on progressive thinking and the newest developments within the industry.
Paul Harmon, BPTrends Executive Editor, says: “We are grateful to the many people who have made this Survey possible, in particular, our sponsors, Red Hat and Signavio. We also want to thank our many friends, associates and partners who have worked with us to promote participation in the Survey, and we want to thank our members and readers who took the time to complete the questionnaire.”
Signavio sponsored the survey in conjunction with Red Hat.
